Costume Design: Claudia Stevens
Sound Design: Luqman Brown
Reviews:
The play was very well staged, acted and choreographed.
Many of the laughs in the play — and there were plenty — came courtesy of Michael Thrash, playing the matchmaking Mrs. Jennings. Theater stalwart Greg King played several roles, all of them well.
Burke, making her Cape Fear Regional Theatre directorial debut, chose to present the work in a highly stylized manner. Modern dress was mixed with clothing more typical of the late-18th century era in which the play is set. One character, for instance, wears a black leather jacket. The actors also served as stagehands, moving props around between scenes.
Fayetteville Observer
It was very good, Mary Kate.
